Racing poster
For this project I was tasked with creating a poster for a race. I edited all of the logos off of the bike and biker, then utilized rake brushes and elements from other photos to create movement and energy in the advertisement.
Superhero Poster
For this project I created an original character named "Dr. Awn" (like "drawn") who has the ability to bring his drawings into the real world. Using photoshop, I edited the face and hair from two separate photographs onto the body and added the sketchbook with the arm pulling a gun out. Overall, this project was very fun and I enjoyed the challenge.
B movie poster
For this project I was tasked with creating a movie poster for a b movie using the photo bashing technique. This technique involves combining many separate images into one coherent photo. My premise involved the ghost of a utahraptor, which I created on this poster with photos of fossils, lizards, and chickens. This project was challenging, but I enjoyed creating the premise and the main creature.
Animal fusion
For this project I had to combine two animals and use it in an advertisement. I got the idea for an energy drink that could keep people who stay up all night awake during the day. I felt that an owl would represent this concept well, and chose the bee as my second animal to relate to the tagline. I had a fun time creating the image, despite the challenge of transitioning feathers into fuzz.
